NOTE: Some of these tubes are available in both "GT" and "G" style envelopes. The "G" style is the older, larger "coke bottle" shape, and usually is scarce. For brevity, I have omitted listing most of them here. I do have many tubes in the "G" style, and they are priced slightly higher than the "GT" type. Electrically the two types are interchangable. PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU MUST HAVE A "G" STYLE TUBE, and I can quote you a price if not listed.
I have attempted to describe my audiophile tube stock with as much detail as possible. You may purchase tubes directly from this list with confidence in knowing that you will be getting quality products that are exactly as described. If you have special inquiries, for example about the shape of the getter, welded or riveted plates, or what date codes certain tubes have, be advised that these are "call brand" requests and carry a charge if you purchase any of these tubes after I respond with their descriptions. Currently the charge is $2.00 US Dollars per tube. Please allow at least 5 days for any "call brand" research to be done, as I am a one man operation and doing the best I can. Looks and tests NOS, in ORIGINAL red and gold boxes. Flippin' Sweet!! Wonderful, sweet throated British tubes from the legendary Marconi-Osram Valve Co.'s Genalex production line. These are NOT the later 1970s version with the yellow lion on the glass, but are the 1960s tubes, and have the aluminim collar around the base with the red Genalex decal, and the Gold Lion in gold ink on the glass. Getter flash spots look NOS, and have been tested and aged by British Industries Corporation in Port Washington, NY, with the MATCHED PAIR tape around the boxes. These are extremely rare tubes worldwide, but especially in the USA. These test very good and have a match within five percent. |
