NOS in whitebox. This was the Genalex (Marconi-Osram Valve Co. of England) answer to the popular Mullard EL34 series. It is a drop-in replacement for the EL34. This is the rare early version with the thin brownbase, skinny bottle w/ flat top, and serrated edge top and bottom mica spacers. This has the original GEC label, and the top getter flash is very perfect, and this tests at 100% of NOS! These have the legendary sweet Genalex sound. Looks and tests NOS, in ORIGINAL red and gold boxes. Flippin' Sweet!! Wonderful, sweet throated British tubes from the legendary Marconi-Osram Valve Co.'s Genalex production line. These are NOT the later 1970s version with the yellow lion on the glass, but are the 1960s tubes, and have the aluminim collar around the base with the red Genalex decal, and the Gold Lion in gold ink on the glass. Getter flash spots look NOS, and have been tested and aged by British Industries Corporation in Port Washington, NY, with the MATCHED PAIR tape around the boxes. These are extremely rare tubes worldwide, but especially in the USA. These test very good and have a match within five percent.

Used tested very good, in WHITE boxes. Wonderful, sweet throated British tubes from the legendary Marconi-Osram Valve Co.'s Genalex production line. These are NOT the later 1970s version with the yellow lion on the glass, but are the 1960s tubes. These have the aluminim collar around the base with the red Genalex decal. These had "GOLD MONARCH" in script on the glass, although most are chalky and obscured with age. These are extremely rare tubes worldwide, but especially in the USA. These very early dated 5AR4s are the absolute holy grail of vintage metalbase West European tubes, and this rare Amperex tube is one of the best 5AR4 types ever made at any time. The tube is in excellent condition. Very few of these sweet tubes left on earth!

CRC-5R4GY JAN 1940s brownbase RCA, double D bottom getters, RARE

New Old Stock White Box, ST "coke bottle" shape, military spec tubes. Not to be confused with the later JAN RCA version of this tube. These are the first production World War II type, with the double D bottom getters set an angles to each other in the bottom of each tube ("V" shape), long dull black plates, extra support rods, very dark brown base and circular top mica. This tube will rival if not outperform the famed 274B Western Electric, and they are just as scarce. Save $800 over the 274B and we guarantee you will agree this is the best! All have the early type dark brown micanol base with the military markings. Tested for low noise and perfect internal matching. No one else has this early version of this incredible tube!
